The power of green

The power of green

Natural experience and creating identity

The design of outdoor space is an interplay of diverse components in which plant choice plays a determining role. Ebben Nurseries aims to cultivate trees and plants with a unique character in terms of shape, colour and application. This allows us to create atmosphere, contribute to biodiversity and provide identity to our home, working and living environment.

Trees and outdoor lighting

When placing lampposts and other lighting, the position and growth of trees needs to be taken into account. If this doesn't happen, the consequences can be disastrous: over time the tree crowns will obstruct more and more light, resulting in drastic pruning or, in the worst case scenario, total removal of the tree. This is a huge waste of resources, which can easily be prevented.

Street profiles

Trees in streets and along avenues give a natural experience, human scale and identity to towns and cities. But the design of a street or avenue often has to meet a long list of conditions. The pressure above and below ground on streets and avenues is constantly increasing. At the same time, the various functions of a street or avenue need to be integrated well - preferably in a visually appealing way. This is no mean feat.
